The Importance Of The Listening Comprehension II

Once again, the listening comprehension lies in a key aspect: pronunciation. Is it about sitting down and listening until we hear it? Well, yes and no. I mean just listening does help, however if you understand Coach Shane's rules of pronunciation the result is way both quicker and more effective. You save time, which is good, - time is not usually on our side - as maximize learning since you do understand what you are doing and with time and lots of practice it might turn into something more and more natural. And all of that, is it really worth it? YES it really is. Besides you can do that for free. Those golden rules are brought to you by Coach Shane.

But there's still a very important aspect to consider when it comes to your listening comprehension: Culture Background. When you are going to discuss something you hardly have information, you might hear words or terms you never heard before so it might end up being all Greek to you. Therefore if we have background knowledge on a certain topic everything turns much easier which has a  very positive impact on our confidence. Remember the psychological factor plays an important role. So on the one hand pronunciation a series of rules that Coach Shane brings you (Daily English Dictation) over and over and on the other hand Culture Background which is basically knowledge brought through English Podcasts.

Important- If you know Google+ you can find 'Let's Master English' just type it in and join us. People from all over the world.

Finally expressions, something which is key to enrich your daily English massively. For that purposse we have E-cubed (Easy English Expressions)

2nd blog post

Huh? Come again...

Imitate the native speakers

Basically it's about 2 sentences that Coach Shane brings us from movies, sitcoms, the news, documentaries, interviews, speeches, you name it. Then you need to dictate every single word in those sentences. You should be able to get the answers within 4 attempts tops. If you need more that's totally fine. Coach Shane's method can be sometimes pretty demanding.
